›How does Polo Brain pick the right card?
It pulls every card in your wallet, looks at the actual reward rate per spend category, factors in caps + forex markup + welcome-bonus eligibility, then ranks by absolute reward VALUE (not headline rate). The reasoning is shown in plain English so you can verify the math, not just trust a score.
›Is this just cashback math?
No. Cashback is the lowest-value redemption. Polo Brain accounts for transfer-partner sweet spots (HDFC → Singapore KrisFlyer at 1:1, Axis Magnus → Singapore KrisFlyer at 5:4, etc.) where 1 point = ₹3-6 instead of ₹0.30. That is the real edge.
›Do I need to log in?
No. Add the cards you hold in My Cards and Polo Brain answers from your own wallet; with an empty wallet it uses three popular Indian cards (HDFC Infinia, Axis Magnus, SBI Cashback) as a demo. There is no account and no bank login. You get 10 questions a day.
›How accurate is Polo Brain?
It reasons over the reward data in our catalog. Where a card has been checked against the issuer’s own source it carries a last-verified date; where it has not, it is labelled unverified and never presented as confirmed. When confidence is low, the result says so. We never make up reward rates.
›What if my exact card is not supported yet?
We currently have full point economics for 17 top India + US cards. The catalog covers 91 cards across both countries, the rest get a basic recommendation but without the transfer-partner depth. Send a request via /contact and we will fast-track new cards.
